A Letter to remember ……

Hi Everyone,
How r u guys? I have been thinking about a forgotten art for few days. Want to really share about a misplaced sense of nostalgia.
There is always a reason for waking up early on Sunday mornings. Sunday is Family day. We spend time together roaming in parks, beaches, shopping, movies and sometimes long drives.

Last Sunday we decided to do some shopping. We were on our way to a newly opened shopping mall, when I noticed a building painted in red and white. Deserted and dusty almost looked like a ghost house. It’s our post office!
Did we really forget about post offices and letters we send through?
In the days of cell phones, emails and text messages, letter writing can seem hopelessly outdated. I don’t know whether there is someone out there, still, who send a letter to their loved ones through post. Now it’s just a matter of second to contact anyone in any part of the world. Even we can see them while we talk. So we just miss the experience of waiting long and receiving someone’s experience, heart and much more through paper and the happiness their after. I believe writing letters will always offer an experience that modern technology cannot touch. Sharing ones true thoughts, sincere sympathies, ardent love, and deepest gratitude.
Sending a letter is something like the next best thing to showing up personally at someone’s door. It’s the most realistic way of communication to our loved ones.
I remember writing letters to my friend who went to study in a different city. Receiving a good handwritten letter, inside a pretty card was a rare and special treat. Reading those letters always made the days better. I don’t know of a richer and more satisfying way of getting to know a person. I still have those letters with me as a treasure. Today I am cherishing the chance to hold the actual paper the person was holding. I feel connected.
What a lot we lost when we stopped writing letters. We can’t reread a phone call after 10 to 15 years.
Most of us might have the fortuitous of writing letters to parents, friends or a loved one.  Ink from our pen touching the stationary, our fingers touching the paper and sometimes sealing the envelope with saliva. Something tangible from our world travels through machines and hands and deposit itself in mailbox. Our letter is carried inside as an invited guest. The paper which was sitting in our desk, now sits on another’s. Will the modern technology ever bring this connection?
I know many of you might have gone to look for some letters you received and read it cone more time.
We forget what an important part letter used to play in people’s lives. The pleasure of discovering handwritten letters in the post has gone forever. There might be millions of people out there in the world who might not have received even a single letter. Our next generation might never get the joy of writing or receiving handwritten letters and none will hear the postman’s knock.
The best means of communication that should come back should be hand written letters. It is surely a dying art. But I wish I could keep it alive.
I wish someone write me a letter .That would be one of the most beautiful things I would ever receive. How many of you wish the same?

With Love,
Divya

Be Our Own Kind of Beautiful !!!!!!

With all the information on maintaining a good beauty regimen out there, it can be little confusing to figure out what advice to take. It is up to us to decide what work best for us, as an individual.
The easiest and most basic thing we can do to be more appealing is practicing good hygiene. Looking clean and smelling good will make people subconsciously want to be near to us. Develop a daily routine of these:
Shower Everyday:
Bath or shower as regularly as we feel comfortable. How often is the matter of who we are as a person – culture, gender, and ethnicity and where we live.  Some people like to shower every day and others do it less often.
It is always good to shower in the morning. We will look fresh and we can start the day with the same freshness. Wash hair thoroughly, and use a body wash or soap that has fresh and clean scent.

Clean and Trim the Nails:
Every two or three days trim up all the nails and clean out the dirt from underneath. They will be softer and easier to manage if we keep it in the water for few minutes. Use sharp manicure scissors or clippers.
Paint the nails clear to make them look extra shiny and nice looking.
Clothing:
We don’t have to wear expensive items to be attractive, but our clothing can communicate a lot about us. Make sure we are wearing a fit cloth as well as possible. We don’t want to wear something that’s completely form-fitting but it shouldn’t sag or leave too much space. Select those colors which suits best. The right color will make our skin look awesome, while the wrong one can make it look washed out and sallow.
Practice Good Posture:
It might seem irrelevant, but standing straight make us seem more confident and in control, which people find attractive. Keep the shoulders squared, spine straight, and try to center hip over feet. Walk with confidence and don’t drag feet. Keep the face up and straight, don’t ever stare at the ground.
Smile:
People are more attractive when they smile. And it is one of the easiest ways we can do to seem instantly appealing. Practice smiling often.
Take Care of Body:
Eat well: Sticking to a healthy diet help us avoid bad breath and pungent body order as well as keeping us from healthy and trim.
Stay Hydrated: We need lot of water to function throughout the day. Aim to get 8 full glasses of water every day.
Exercise: Consistent physical activity cannot only help us more attractive but it also lifts our mood up and Keep us from getting sick often.
Beauty is not in our perfection, but it is our attitude to our imperfections.
Next time when you think of beautiful things don’t forget to count you in .

Healthy Family !!! Happy Home !!!

What can be more important than the health of our Family?
The best place to learn healthy habits is home.
Making our home healthier doesn’t have to be expensive; just few changes can improve the health of our home and everyone in it.
Dust the house regularly:
Keep our house dust free by dusting regularly. Dust in the house is one of the primary reasons for many respiratory diseases and allergies. Change bed sheets weekly because frequently washed sheets reduce skin flakes, fibers and dust in the air. Rugs are the biggest dust collectors. Shake them outside the house frequently. Clean the sofa cushiness. Remove clutter from floor. Clean from top to bottom. Clean the highest surfaces first and work your way down.
Avoid wearing shoes around the house:
Remove the shoes while entering the house. Use home slippers while we are indoor.
Clean Remote Controls:
The remote controls are another popular destination for germs. Because it’s constantly touched and handled, often by grubby hands, germs will have a field day multiply on the remote controls. Use alcohol socked cloth to wipe them clean from time to time.
Change the Kitchen sponge often:
The kitchen sponge rated the number one source of germs in the house. Ironic, considering it’s used to clean our dishes! Never keep our sponge in the dishwashing soap, always squeeze it and keep it dry and discard it while it starts to fall apart.
Check The LPG Gas Cylinder pipe regularly:
Most LPG gas companies recommend changing the pipe once in two years. It is also a good idea to have the person who changes the cylinder check the pipe at every visit. A leak in the pipe is a serious situation and could lead to fire or much more
Wipe Your Refrigerator Handles Daily:
All the day refrigerator handles are opened and closed by hands that have been near food. All that touching will bring the handle with germs and bacteria. Most of us keep inside the refrigerators clean anyway, don’t forget to keep it clean outside as well.
Don’t Smoke:
Toxic particles are left behind even after the cigarette has been smoked and extinguished.  Smoking inside the house means we are leaving extremely harmful carcinogens in the carpet, curtains and other surfaces of the house. This is harmful and has the effect of passive smoking. It’s very harmful for infants. Even if we go out and smoke, make sure that we are washing the hands properly while coming inside the house.
Watch the Plastics:
Plastic bottles and containers are a staple in most of the kitchens. However, we need to remember that all plastics are not the same on the health scale. Certain grades of plastics are known to leach chemicals in to the food stored in them. So choose the plastics wisely.
Filter the Tap water:
Even if we live in a place where drinking water is considered good, there can still be traces of chemicals in it. Filtering the tap water is an easy thing to do – we don’t want to invest a lot of money in it. It’s better safe always than sorry.
Wash Our Hands:
Hands are our best companion in our day to day life and it’s important for us to keep it healthy. Frequent hand washing keeps the germs from getting passed around. Always wash hands before preparing food, eating, treating wounds or giving medicine, inserting or removing contact lenses. Also wash hands after using the toilet, touching an animal, lashes or waste, coughing or sneezing into hands.
“A healthy family is sacred territory. Family is the root of all that is good in our life”

Baby Steps.... To Big Dreams...

The sun is yet to rise. And daybreak seems far away as I walk through the park. I am on my regular morning walk. Hamlets of the hill just started to come out of the bed. Hundreds of birds are chirping as if to say a warm good morning .The wait of fresh air instantly rids you of any remnants of sleep.
Its half past six when I drink the routine hot coffee, sitting with a newspaper in the balcony. Not really able to concentrate on news across the world. Lot’s going on in the world. I can’t control any of that. Just gives me a headache and feeling kind of sad. Wondering about human nature and how we mistreat each other.
I should focus on me. There is much to think about myself, the days which I spend by nothing much to do, the future. Things that I can control, in my own little world. Life is like an ocean, sometimes silent, sometimes roaring with all the energy as if to eat everything in front of it, sometimes singing along the sweet melodies of nature. My life is silent now, like a radio which doesn’t sing at all.
Sometimes we need to step outside, Get some air and remind ourselves who we are and who we want to be.
I have dreams about my future. What I want to be. What I need to achieve. I have a strong desire in me.
I want to be a writer! A storyteller, Read by everyone. I want to be part of that minority group who will be known by the majority of the world.  But, I don’t know what to write. May be about an alien invasion to the earth. No! People will prefer Spielberg movies. I have to be myself, different.
In this era of social networking and technologies, why there is shortage of topics? But, no, it’s not necessary to go with a topic. I want to write whatever comes to mind. Whatever I think, whatever I worry about, whatever I laugh at. It should be fun reading that. And, by the way everything in life is writable. If we have the guts to write and the imagination to improvise.
Well so it’s not gonna be easy. It’s gonna be really hard. I need to write down everything what I daydreaming. Everything about being bored. I need to notice everything when I am doing it. I remember” The Expert in anything was a beginner “.
I believe everything happens for a reason. People change so that we can let it go. Things go wrong so that we can appreciate them when they are right. Sometimes, good things fall apart, so better things can fall in place.
Now I can see how wonderful this morning is! How magical is every moment of life! How wonderful the glint of light coming through the tree leaves!! Time has a wonderful way of showing us what really matters.
My coffee cup is almost empty. But, my mind is full of happiness. I choose to live by choice, to make changes, to listen to my mind.
I am gonna write from my heart. From my soul. Make the best of me…And never let it go, not for anything.

Read a book: To Know that we are not alone!!!!!!

“There are worse crimes than burning books. One of them is not reading them” – Joseph Brodsky.

In these busy times, when we don’t even have time to eat breakfast, there is no wonder that we gave up reading, rather forgot the importance of reading.
I was also not a reader. I thought it as a boring task to read a 100 or more pages book. But I was wrong. We are really missing lot more than what we think without reading.
When I start being at home after my work without nothing much to do, I choose books as my companion. I found it really amazing to read, which cannot be described in words. We can understand it only with the actual experience. It’s the best way to avoid boredom.
Now I am an avid reader and I wish I would get enough of my life time to read all the great books.
There is much more to life than our work or spending time aimlessly with latest technology products. Reading books gives us that much needed break from chaos of life. It instills peace inside us, makes us relaxed and also exercise our brain in the process.
When we read a book, it feels great to put ourselves into a world of characters that the writer has created for us. It is the same like watching a good movie.
When we spend hours and hours reading a book, creating a world with different characters in our mind, our imagination powers are sure to get a boost.
Thanks to the technology that we can find good articles to read on the internet. A great article can motivate and inspires us as the same as a book do. The only reason I recommend reading books over short articles is that when we spend hours with a thought or an idea that it’s more likely to stay with us than spending few minutes tinkering with it.
Just reading a book is not good enough. The way how we read it also matters. When we come across a new idea or different opinion, think upon it deeply. Do not accept it or eject it blindly. Try to reason with it and understand the writer’s point of view.
As we continue this habit, we will start forming our own thoughts and values. It will challenge our mind and the thoughts, customs and tradition that we have grown up with.
It’s very easy to get involved too much into the reading process, that we forget the actual purpose of reading is to make us a better person. Just finishing one book after another without any real action from our side won’t help us.
Reading articles which spreads negativity, hatred and wrong content is dangerous. It is better not to read anything at all rather reading such articles.
Always read the content from a safe distance. Neither too close nor far away from the eyes.
Always prefer quality over quantity. Better to read one great book than hundred bad ones.
Don’t accept anything blindly. Think upon it and try to understand the reason behind what’s been written.
Focus completely on what we are reading. Do not think about other stuffs while reading.

Even our education system acknowledges the fact that reading is important for the development of an individual and hence it is considered a top priority in primary education. We can read almost anything including encyclopedias, novels, and magazines and so on. What we read is not important as long as we like what we are doing.
The foremost thing is that reading improves our vocabulary, Command on the language and the communication skills, as we regularly come across new words, phrases, idioms and writing styles. Reading books of a variety of subjects helps us to add our knowledge, which, in turn, helps us with different attributes of life.
The habit of reading yields rich dividends, and that's a fact which cannot be questioned. So it's high time you find a cure for bibliophobia, i.e., the fear of books (especially thick books) and dive into the world of literature or whatever you like to read. In this world of competitiveness, it's always advantageous to amass vast knowledge, and there is no better way to do so,
“Everything in the world exists in order to end up us a book “- Stephane Mallarme

A house is not home wthout a pet!!!!!

“Dog is a man’s best friend”, it is a universally accepted fact.
Pets are very appreciative, adorable, loving and friendly.
Having a pet in our life brings great happiness.
For thousands of years we are looking for the ‘fountain of youth’. People will stop at nothing to find a way to live longer. Fueled by mans need to live longer and feel better, people endlessly search for an ever elusive answer. But the answer is not really elusive. Studies shows that owning a pet can extend a person’s life and make them happier.
Effects of Pets:
There are many physical and mental benefits that can also accompany with the pleasure of playing with a furry friend.
Pet Owners are less likely to suffer from depression.
People with pets have lower blood pressure in stressful situations than with those without.
Playing with pets can elevate levels of serotonin and dopamine, which calm and relax.
Pet owners have lower cholesterol level than without.
Heart attack patients with pets survive longer than those without.
A pet doesn’t have to be a dog or cat. Even watching a fish in an aquarium can help reduce muscle tension and pulse rate.

The companionship of a pet can ease loneliness, and some pets are a great stimulus for healthy exercise, which can substantially boost mood.

Pets help to make a healthy Life style change:
Adopting healthy life style changes can play an important role in easing symptoms of depression, stress, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and anxiety. Caring for a pet can help with those healthy life style changes by:
Increasing Exercise: Taking a dog for a walk or simply chasing a kitten around is fun ways to fit healthy daily exercise in our schedule.
Providing Companionship:  Isolation and loneliness can make disorders such as depression even worse. Caring for a living animal can help make you feel needed and wanted, and take the focus away from problems. Most pet owners talk to their pets, some even use them to work through their troubles.
Helping meet new People: Pets can be a great social lubricant for their owners. Dog owners frequently stops and talk to each other on walks. Pet owners also meet new people in pet stores, clubs and training classes.
Reducing Anxiety: The companionship of a dog can offer comfort, help ease anxiety, and build self- confident for people anxious about going out into the world.
Adding structure and routine to the day: Many pets, especially dogs, require a regular feeding and exercise schedule. No matter the mood we have to get out of the bed to feed, exercise and care for the pet.
Providing sensory stress relief: Touch and movement are two healthy ways to quickly manage stress. This could involve petting a cat or taking a dog for walk.

Finding a pet that meets our needs and Life Style:
While people who have pets tend to be happier, more independent, and feel more secure than those without pets, it is important to select the type of pet that is best to us.
Life Style Considerations that influence in Choice of the pet:
Little Outdoor Activity: If most of our time is spent at home, consider pets that are happy to stay with that environment. We may enjoy playing with a cat, or a bunny, watching fish or talking and singing along with a bird.
High Activity: If we are more active and enjoy daily activity outside of our home, especially walking or running, a dog might be right.
Small Children and the Elderly: Family with small children or elderly living in their homes should consider the size and the energy level of the pet. Puppies and kittens will be usually very active, but delicate creatures must be handled with care. Large dogs could accidently harm or knock over a small child or elderly who is not steady with their legs.
Other Animals in Household: Consider the ongoing happiness and ability to adjust of the pets you already have. A pet that has had exclusive access to our attentions may resent sharing us.
Home Environment: If a neat tidy home, free of animal hair, occasional muddy foot prints and accidents is important, then you may want to choose pets that are confined to their quarters, such as fish, or birds.
Time Commitment:  Most importantly, keep in mind that we will be making a commitment that will last the lifetime of the pet.
Irrespective of the fact that pets gift us with a lot of wonderful things and moments, it is also known to be a huge responsibility. Having a pet in home can be inconvenient for those who are not truly into taking care of them. It is important to make sure that they are in best of their health and provided with good quality food of their kind. We should make sure not to let it go astray outside our home, onto streets, as they may contracted with some common diseases, which they bring home too.
“Until one has loved an animal, a part of One’s soul remains unawaken”- Anatole France.

Eating healthy food!!! Nutrition

“If you don’t take care of your body, why are you going to live”?
Food is an important part of a balanced diet.
Food is important for humans because it contains all the nutrition and vitamin that we need in order for us to function correctly.
The food pyramid is not only a model of nutrition, but it is also a defense guideline against illness and disease. Having a well-balanced diet and getting plenty of sleep can help more than just weight management.
All body functions metabolic, hormonal, mental, physical or chemical cannot be performed by the body without nutritive food. Food provides us with important nutrition which is important in cure of disease.
Importance of Food:
For Survival
Without food there is no survival. When we consume some mode of food and nutrition, the body functions in particular manner which it is supposed to. Without a catalyst, there is no product that is formed and for all living beings food is the catalyst. When we consume food, nutrition is provided to the body for the production of energy and in turn, the body is functional.
To the Human body:
The cycle of life consists of Birth, growth, Development and then the death. For a living being from birth to death there is a constant necessity of nutrition and catalyst which is provided by the food which is consumed.
To Culture:
Apart from only keeping the body fit and healthy, food has other commercial importance too. There are many cultures all over the world that are well known for their peculiar tastes and methods of cooking. Chinese, Italian, Thai, Indian, European, Mexican, etc. When food is associated with culture, it symbolizes the evolution of culture through food as well. People from these cultures cherish their food and spices which gives them unique identity of their own.
A body uses food to perform one or more functions,
Energy:
Food supplies the fuel or energy needed to perform the many tasks of everyday living. We need energy to breathe, walk, sit, speak, think and even sleep. We get energy from carbohydrates, proteins and fats. It is important that we eat enough food to supply all our needs.
Growth and Repair:
Food provides the material needed to build, repair and maintain body tissues. Proteins, fats and minerals are the best nutrition’s for growth. Growing bodies need extra amounts of these nutrients. Every person, weather growing or not, is going through a continual repair process of replacing injured or dead cells. It is food that supplies the nutrients necessary for this process.
Regulation:
Food supplies the substances that help regulate the body processes. Water, Vitamins and minerals help regulate breathing, the nervous system, digestion, blood circulation and the elimination of waste products from the body. They help all the system in the body work properly.
Protection:
Vitamins, Minerals and protein keep the body tissues and organs healthy. Healthy organs are less likely to be attacked by disease.
The right food can really affect how your body functions and acts. Eating the right food can make your body strong; it can fight illness, produce a healthy skin, and keeps the body functioning normally.
Having the right amount of food can make you strong mentally and physically.

“We are indeed much more than what we eat, but what we eat can nevertheless help us to be much more than what we are” – Adelle Davis
Respect food and don’t waste it, there are many who are less fortunate. So, think about them before throwing the food in the bin.

Healthy Teeth, Healthy Life!!!!!!!

She laughs at everything you say, why? she has a fine teeth.

When we get our picture taken, everyone says “Say Cheese! Smile!” so we do open our mouth and show our teeth. When we see the picture we see a happy person looking back at us. The healthier those teeth are the happier we look.
Our teeth are important in many ways. If we take care of them, they will help take care of us. Strong, healthy teeth helps us chew the right food helps us to grow. They help us to speak; of course they help us to look better.
Our teeth can give away a lot about us. And it doesn’t take a lot to keep our gums and teeth healthy.
Why healthy teeth are Important?
If we don’t take care of our teeth, cavities and unhealthy gums will make our mouth very, very sour. Eating meals will be difficult. And we won’t feel like smiling much. We all want a dazzling smile. To have a dazzling smile, we must also have healthy teeth and gums. If you suffer from certain medical conditions maintaining healthy teeth are very more important. If avoid proper care of our teeth, plaque and tarter can easily build up. This can cause to numerous problems like tooth decay, gum disease, and tooth loss. It has the chances of developing periodontal disease i.e.
Bad breath from mouth
Red and swollen gums
Bleeding when brushing the teeth
Bad taste in mouth
Receding Gums
Tooth Loss
The mouth is the doorway to the body. If the mouth is diseased it tends to pass disease onto the rest of the body.
Keep Teeth Healthy:
How can we keep our teeth healthy?

Brush at least Twice a Day:
Brushing teeth twice a day is very important to make them strong and healthy. Brush all of the teeth, not just the front ones. Spend some time on the teeth along the sides and the back.
Take time while brushing. Spend at least 2-3 minutes each time you brush. Be sure the toothbrush has soft bristles.
You can also brush the tongue for fresh breath.

Floss Regularly:
This is also a nice and effective way of getting rid of any food particles from the surface of the teeth and the gaps between the teeth. They clean all the groves of teeth and prevent tooth decay.
A healthy Diet:
What we eat and drink also cause tooth decay, so a healthy diet is important for our teeth. A healthy includes foods from different groups, including fruits and vegetables, starchy foods, some protein rich food and some diary food.

A trip to the dentist need not only be when we have a dental problem.  Cleanup every six months helps remove plaque from teeth, reduces the bacteria in our mouth and ensures overall cleanliness.
Tobacco based products are known to increase gum disease and even cancer of mouth. Steer clear of them.
Reduce the use of sugar.
Ensure there is no lack in Calcium and Minerals.
Drink Milk. Milk does the body good. It also helps our bones and teeth strong.
Strong teeth are a blessing and it is very important to take care of teeth as to be sure as we can enjoy hard food items even in our old age.

Human beings are social animals!!!!

Human beings are social animals, and the tenor of our social life is one of the most important influences on our mental health.
Our life depends on other humans. Human infants are born unable to transport or care for themselves. Their survival depends on other human’s effort.
Our connections to others are key to not only our survival, but also to our happiness and the success of our careers.
“Each friend represents a world in us, a world probably not born until they arrive, and only by this meeting that a new world is born”.
Social Animals:
With hundreds of miles open to habitation, people still tend to build their houses close to the houses of other people. No matter the continent, the culture, no matter the era, this is what we do. And to find an individual choosing to live completely alone is very rare as to confirm that human beings need to amongst each other. Humans are social animals: it is our nature to be so.
As individuals we could survive living all alone, but if we did, our species would not. We stay together to protect and teach each other.
Who we are comes not only from our own senses and memories, but also from the groups we belong to. Some cultures and societies may emphasize one over other, but neither identity can be denied.
When individual members share what they know with the group, it strengthens all in the group. It is how we grow and learn.
A person’s temperament is formed by many things: our experiences, how we taught to act and react, and even some intangible inner qualities we are born with.
But what we think of ourselves –or self-esteem- is fashioned in large part by what we think other people will think of us. Our self-worth depends on our notion of how worthy we are to others, and on how we were taught by others to view ourselves.
From nowhere but the relationships we have with others can come pride, love, honor, shame, trust, envy or hate.
Benefits of Being Social:

Overcoming Loneliness:
Those who are socially isolated are more prone to loneliness. Sometimes we want to be alone at but other times we sense a deep longing to be with others. Loneliness can be brought about through relationship breakdown, distancing ourselves from others when we are hurting, or when moving to new area. However, there is only one cure for loneliness- be with other people. We overcome loneliness by being with other people.
Health Benefits:
The people who surrounded by others in various social activities have a lower risk for loneliness. It helps to boost our brain power and helps to live a healthier life.
Add years to our Life
A strong social network is more crucial to physical health than exercising and beating obesity. And friendships, whether those friends are near or far, increase our chances for a long, healthy life.
Reduce the risk of Stroke
Spending times with friends lowers our blood pressure and reduces inflammation in body, which in turn decreases the probability of stroke or other brain damage. Taking a trip to visit long-time distant friends, a leisurely lunch with old friends or a night out with buddies is a good investment in our health.
Boost our Immune System
Loneliness and isolation is bad for our brains as well as our bodies. Social isolation affects the brain and other biology and is disconcertingly associated with illness-both mental and physical. When we make an extra effort to include a lonely friend into our holiday, we are helping our own health as well as of our guest.

Encourage Good Self care
Having relationship with people to whom we are important has a positive effect on physical and mental health. It lowers stress and the tendency to depression.  And, as long as our friends have health habits it also decreases the tendency to unhealthy habits .When we know we matter, its somehow easier to make the right choices for our own well-being.
Lower or delay the risk of memory loss
Any social activity that engages our brain and keep it active with stave off memory loss. But, interacting with friends is especially therapeutic.
Relieve Pain
Something as simple as holding hands with someone we care about lowers pain perception. Feeling connected to others is essential for our well-being. In fact, More than 100yrs of research shows that having a healthy social life is vital to staying mentally and physically healthy. So go join the party!
Practical Benefits:
Social people have easier times to find fun things to do. Making money is easier when you have the ability to negotiate, manage, sell, help others, and develop relationships with co-workers.
The biggest benefit from being social is that we learn more about ourselves when we are around people similar to us.
How to improve our social Life?
Be Wary of building walls:
People are lonely because they build walls instead of bridges” – Joseph F Newton.
The ego wants to divide our world. It wants to create barriers, separation and loves to play the comparison game. The game where people are different compared to us, the game we are better than someone else and worse than someone else. All of this creates fear and we build walls. It just hurt you always.
We need to build bridges instead of walls. We can build bridges in many ways. One way is to choose to be curious about others. Curiosity will be filled with anticipation and enthusiasm. It opens us up. When we are open, we will have more fun things to think and focus. Another way is to start see ourselves in others. To get that there is no real separation between us and other people. Think that everyone we meet is our friend.
Our relationships are in our mind:
All of the other people in our life are simply thoughts in our mind. Our relationships are all in how you think about the other people of our life. Our experience of all those people is only in our mind. Our feelings about our loved ones come from our thoughts.
How we choose to interpret people and our relationship makes a huge difference. So we have to take a look at our assumptions and expectations and thought habits. Find patterns that may be hurting you or always pleasant. Instead of just keep looking at our self as some sort of unmoving and objective observer of the world and reality. A Change in us could change our whole world.
Avoid being Boring:
Always be prepared to change the subject when we start boring others. One good way to have something interesting to say is simply lead an interesting life. And to focus on the positive stuff.
Focus Outwards, Not Inward:
Make more friends by becoming interested in other people. As we treat people, they will treat you. Be interested in them and they will be interested in us.
Genuineness is Awesome:
I think one of the most important things in any relationship is to be genuine. Few things are power full as genuine communication. People really like genuineness.
Open doors to new opportunities.
Connect with Like-minded individuals.
Connect with respected colleagues holding different opinions or perspectives.
Set apart as a thought leader.
Meet some new people.
Invite friends to do something new with us.
Do our best to accept every invitation.

It’s OK not to be as social as Other People:

There is nothing wrong with not being that into socializing. Liking to spend time alone. Not wanting to spend every possible second with certain people. Preferring more low key types of socializing over the more group oriented, louder, hectic types. Not enjoying formulaic, uninspired routine aspects of socializing. Not carrying about the same things most people are interested in. Not having the same values or priorities as most people.
While being less social is intrinsically Okay, it can cause issues:
Being less social leads to hassles for going against the norm.
It may lead to less developed social skills
Being irritated at being misunderstood can lead to friction.
“The Better part of one’s life consist of his friendships”- Abraham Lincoln
