5 Natural Ways to Get Rid of Blackheads

Blackheads ….. Oh No!!!!

Blackheads are just pimples that don’t have skin on them. That’s all they are. Because there is no skin, and they are exposed to the air, the top layer of gunk in our pores oxidizes and turns that darkish black color.
All we have to do is clean out our pores, and the blackheads are gone. There is no need to squish and squeeze.
There are many ways that we can do to prevent blackheads from appearing on our face.
Make Exfoliation a part of our Weekly ritual:

Exfoliation is an important step to eliminate dead skin cells. This helps get rid of the built-up dead cells from inside the pores that cause them to be clogged.
There are so many things we can use to exfoliate and remove blackheads with. All of them are in our cabinets right now.
Milk & Nutmeg is one of the best. Especially for oily skin and getting rid of black heads. Nutmeg helps getting rid of oil, offers the scrubby power, and leaves behind really smooth skin. The lactic acid in milk helps break down old skin cells as they disappear when we rinse our face.
We could also use baking soda and water, lemon juice and sugar, or salt and sour cream.
How we do it: Simply combine our scrubby ingredient with our liquid ingredient until we have a thin paste. Starting with a clean face, rinse it once with water, and then begin to apply our exfoliator in light, circular motions.
Concentrate on black heads, but remember to use a very light touch. Too rough and we could damage our skin.
Do this for 3-5 minutes. Rinse well. Enjoy our clean face.
Do a Honey Pat Down:
This is only slightly different than the honey face wash. In that we don’t want to wet our face before we start – in any way, shape or form.
Honey should be very-very sticky if we want this to be as effective as possible.
How we do it: Simply pour a small amount of honey on our fingers and start rapidly patting the areas on our face where we want to remove blackheads. The honey will stick to the stuff in our pours, and pull it out we remove our fingers. It will also offer gentle antibacterial and antioxidant support, so any small remnants that may be left in our pores won’t oxidize quite as quickly.
Continue doing this for 3-4 minutes, and then just rinse our face with water.
Use Egg whites to pull out the Gunk:
It might be a least favorite for getting rid of black heads because of its smell. Many people have tried it and got good results. We never ever know until we try.
How we do it: Staring with a clean face, spread egg whites all over using fingers or a paint brush. Start first with a thin layer and let it dry briefly. Then spread a second layer over the top and let the whole thing dry completely.
We may want to focus on the blackhead areas a third time, even.
Allow this pack to dry for 15minutes. Our face will feel tight and pull a bit. This is good. Then with a warm, wet washcloth, scrub the egg whites off our face gently.
If nothing else, our face will be super smooth and soft.
Use a Cosmetic clay mask to soak up the oils:
We do not have to have a special costly jar of facial mask clay for this. We do not have to put essential oil into our mask.
All we need is cosmetic clay and water.
How we do it: Again, we can add goodies like rosewater or a drop or two essential oils to our clay, but this is not necessary for removing blackheads.
Combine 1tbsp clay with 1tbsp apple cider vinegar or pure water and stir until we have a paste without lumps in it. Spread over our whole clean face, or just the areas where we have blackheads. Allow this to dry for 15-20 minutes.
Take a warm, wet wash cloth and press it to the mask for a few seconds, and then slowly and gently wipe off.
If All else Fails, take a clean toothbrush to the area:
Do not use this method unless all else fails.
This is absolutely the most extreme measure we should go to in clearing our blackheads.
Use a dedicated toothbrush only for blackhead cleaning. Do NOT use our mouth toothbrush ever. In between scrubbing blackheads, dunk our toothbrush in a glass of hydrogen peroxide to keep it clean.
How we do it: Using a soft bristled brush, pour a small amount of lemon juice on the toothbrush, along with a drop or two of oily-skin friendly oil like jojoba, tamanu, or neem.
Very gently scrub our blackhead areas with the head of our toothbrush. We can rinse with water and reapply with lemon and oil if you feel like we need to. Just do this gently. In circular motions. And don’t go crazy.
Also, don’t do this more than once a week. Don’t do it around our eyes. And do NOT do this on any open sores, scratches, or cuts. Ever.
If we avoid anywhere delicate, it should be just fine.
Ways to prevent black heads:
Don’t wash our face with harsh cleansers. This makes our skin overreact and produce more oil, which means our blackheads will be back much faster.
Do wash our face twice a day with natural sources.
Wear makeup as little as possible.
Wash our pillow case on a weekly basis.
Use an astringent like witch hazel or apple cider vinegar after we wash our face and before we moisturize.
Once every two weeks, use a facial steam to help open our pores and let them unclog.
Consider using the oil cleansing method to wash our face.
Make a homemade peel-off mask with gelatin and tomato juice.
Blot our face with tissue paper throughout the day to soak up oil before it can accumulate.

15 Foods that can help us lose weight

Trying to lose weight???
Losing weight is not just about reducing food intake and cutting things out of our diet. There are few food stuffs we can add to our diet which can help with potentially speed up weight loss.
Here are 15 picks for foods that can help us lose weight.
Grapefruit:
We have all heard of the grapefruit diet but we don’t have to live on a diet of grapefruit alone to lose weight. It is found that eating half a grapefruit before each meal or drinking a serving of the juice three times a day can help you drop the pounds. The magic ingredient is the fruits phytochemicals and their effect of reducing insulin levels which stimulates our body to convert calories into energy rather. It is an excellent source of vitamin C.

Cinnamon:
Cinnamon is a super spice when it comes to boosting our wellbeing as it has many health- giving properties. In terms of weight loss, it’s all to do with controlling those post-meal insulin spikes which is what make us feel hungry. And we don’t need to get much of the stuffs to get the benefits; studies have shown that just half a teaspoon of cinnamon a day can lower the blood sugar, cholesterol, and triglyceride levels. Through effects of slowing food glucose absorption, and enhancing the body’s ability to use glucose in metabolically active cells via direction of insulin, rather than store it as fat, cinnamon improves body composition.

Chili Peppers:
Adding a bit of heat to our diet can give us a weight-loss boost. Studies shows that having a spicy start to our morning, i.e. eating chilies as a part of our breakfast can make us opt for a smaller lunch. Apparently it’s down to capsaicin which is found in chilies and red peppers that has appetite suppressing properties. Granted- chilies are not easiest of items to face as our morning meal but how about as a part of  a spicy egg-white omelet or stirred into scrambled eggs for a spicy weight loss kick.

Fennel Tea:
Fennel tea is a food stuff that boosts a list of health giving benefits. Drinking tea made from fennel seeds will improve the general state of our body. It is packed with good levels of potassium, magnesium, and calcium as well as the vitamin B and C. But when it comes to the weight-loss stakes fennel had a double benefit: working both as an appetite suppressant and a metabolism booster which really are both useful if we are trying to lose weight. Fennel tea is widely available in supermarkets so add to our daily diet to stave off carvings and boost our fuel burn.

Salad:
Eating a low-calorie salad before our main meals can help us lose weight and ensure we gat recommended daily intake of veggies. And it is not rocket science as to how it work for weight loss, the key is the sheer volume of a salad, which makes us feel too full to pig out when it comes to our main meal. We need to make sure we don’t draw it into a fatty dressing though – a little olive oil and balsamic vinegar makes the perfect healthy accompaniment to a fresh salad.

Green Tea:
Another powerful brew — green tea really has a multitude of health and wellbeing benefits. And if we are into fitness it makes the perfect pre-workout drink; it's been found to increase endurance by as much as 24 per cent, allowing us to exercise longer and burn more calories. But in terms boosting our weight loss power, a study carried out by the Journal of Nutrition, drinking five cups of green tea per day can help us lose twice as much weight, most of it where we want to loses it most — around the middle.
Celery:

Celery rates well as a weight-loss food as we can actually end up burning more calories eating it than our body will take on consuming it. But by no means does that make celery low in nutritional value; it's super-packed with fiber (great for digestion) and foliates (the essential nutrient for the care and production of new cells within the body). Get our celery fix by making sure it's featured in our pre-meal salad, as an accompaniment to our lunch or as a healthy snack when we want to satisfy that 'munch' craving.

Lentils:

Lentils are great weight-loss food as they have the power to really satisfy our hunger without packing our body with loads of calories and fat — that's often why lentils feature heavily as a meat substitute — they can make us feel like we've had a meaty dish minus the calories and saturated fat that come with eating meat. Again like celery, lentils are full of fiber and foliate so as well as giving us the full feeling, they are great for digestion and healthy cell growth.

Dark Chocolate:

Granted chocolate is not low in calories nor in fat, but dark chocolate have two major dietary positives that can lead to long term weight loss. First, it's quite difficult to munch massive quantities of high-quality dark chocolate as compared to the milk stuff. Secondly, dark chocolate is very high in health-promoting antioxidants. In terms of a weapon in our weight-loss armory, we can use dark chocolate as a way to curb any sweet cravings, just a few small squares to quell a full on chocolate binge is well worth the modest calorie intake.

Quinoa:

Quinoa is good for weight loss as it has the power to keep you feeling fuller for longer due to its high protein content. Also the carbs that are present in the grain are released slowly into the body so you won't get that rush of energy after eating quinoa as you would with other foods like white rice or pasta. You can eat quinoa raw but we reckon its best when it's cooked in a similar way to rice or couscous.
Eggs:

Eggs are full of protein and help us stay full for a long duration. Not only this, protein helps prevent spikes in blood sugar, which leads to food cravings. Dig in to eggs, yolks and all: They won’t harm our heart, but they can help us trim inches. Eat more omelets and scrambles and are obvious choices.

Oats:
Whole grains help promote weight loss as they are rich in complex carbohydrates that provide sustained energy, fill us up before we can eat too much and lower the risk of diabetes, heart disease, stroke and certain cancers. All oats are healthful, but the steel-cut and rolled varieties (which are minimally processed) have up to 5 grams of fiber per serving, making them the most filling choice. Instant oats contain 3 to 4 grams per serving.

Olive Oil:

Like avocados, olive oil has healthy fat that increases satiety, taming our appetite. But that's hardly its only slimming feature. Research shows it also has anti-inflammatory properties. Chronic inflammation in the body is linked to metabolic syndrome. Eat more Drizzle our salad with olive oil and we'll increase the antioxidant power of our veggies.

Yogurt:

Dietitians often refer to plain yogurt as the perfect food, and for good reason: With its trifecta of carbs, protein and fat, it can stave off hunger by keeping blood sugar levels steady. Eat more Use low fat plain yogurt instead of mayonnaise in chicken or potato salad, or top a baked potato with a bit of yogurt and a squeeze of lemon juice. You'll save 4.7 grams of fat per tablespoon. Look for Greek yogurt, which has more protein than other versions.

Water:

It is not a food, but calorie free water helps us feel full. Also, eat fruits as they have high water content, or include more fluids like soups and juices in each meal, as water and fiber- rich foods occupy more space in our stomach. We need about eight glasses of water a day, though we may need more if we are living where temperatures are high, at high attitude, having medical condition or exercise.

“If you eat what you’ve always eaten, you will weigh what you’ve always weighed.”

10 Ways to Beat Cellulite!!

Got Cellulite??? Can we beat it???
So if you have some cellulite there are some easy natural ways to beat it as well. Some healthy life style habits can help to reduce the appearance of cellulite.
Drink Well:
Drink six to eight glass of water per day to flush out any excess sodium that causes fluid retention. Drinking enough water is an easy way to improve the texture of your skin. It seems counterintuitive, but drinking more fluid, your body actually releases excess fluid that you are holding into. Not to mention that water is just damn good for you. If you get bored of water try herbal teas or adding a little pure fruit juice to it. Sticking to this regime can make our skin look plumper within days – Goodbye Cellulite!!!
Quit Smoking:
Here’s yet another reason to kick the habit. Smoking can worsen cellulite as it cuts off your skin’s food supply and floods your body with toxins. This can have detrimental effect on the elasticity of your skin, thereby worsening cellulite- and bringing on premature wrinkles and sagging. Ah!
De-Stress:
Stress heads takes note! Stress causes hormonal changes that can affect skin. Cortisol is a stress hormone that can cause thinning of skin and increased fat storage. It can also slow the production of growth hormones that create healthy skin. It is so important to get relaxation in to your day; try Yoga, cycling or walking, and make sure you get the magic eight hours sleep at night.
Exercise:
Although thin people are just likely to get cellulite as overweight people, weight gain can worsen the appearance of cellulite. If you combine a cardiovascular exercise program, with resistance training on your legs and bum, you could dramatically reduce the appearance of cellulite. This will take longer than seven days but the reduction in cellulite will be amazing. Aerobic exercise is also a fantastic way to burn calories and burn fat, thereby reducing the size of fat cells under the skin.
Eat a Healthy diet:
Eating a diet full of fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, healthy fats and whole grains can give your body the essential vitamins and minerals it needs to properly burn fat and keep your skin and tissues healthy. In fact healthy proteins from nuts, beans and fish, and antioxidant rich green tea, berries and garlic can help build up collagen – a connective tissue that helps plump up the skin and makes the signature peaks and valleys of cellulite less extreme. A healthy diet full of vitamin C, vitamin E and omega-3 fatty acids can also improve skin texture.
Body Brush :
A body brush could be your best purchase this year! Skin brushing helps remove dead skin cells, stimulates circulation and boosts your lymphatic flow. This in turn helps out the poor drainage in fat cells that cause cellulite. For the best results brush twice a day using long strokes towards your heart.
Moisturize:
There are lot of creams and gels on the market, with all sorts of ambitious claims. The truth is, for great results you cannot rely on creams alone, they need to be combined with exercise and healthy eating/drinking. Having said that, putting on any good moisturizer twice a day will help to plump up the skin on your rear. And using the specialist cellulite products will get even better results. They are designed to boost your circulation in the troubled area and increase collagen production. For best results, the creams have to be used continually.
Consume Essential Fatty Acids :
Essential fatty acids can help strengthen the connective tissues around fat cells, thereby helping to reduce cellulite. A diet richer in essential fatty acids may stop the fat cells slackening and therefore could reduce the dimpling effect. Good sources of essential fatty acids are olive oil, flaxseed oil, blackcurrant seed oil, walnut oil and fish oil.
Eat more Protein:
Water retention can be part of the cellulite problem. Protein can help as it contains albumin, which helps absorb excess fluid. For the best effect, try eating three portions of fish, pulses and beans, poultry or tofu every day.
Massage:

Massage from trained practitioners has a host of benefits. It can help reduce stress, increase circulation and lymphatic drainage and break down adhesions. Specialist manual skin kneading combined with lymphatic drainage can result in the smoothing of skin tissue and the lamination of excess fluid.
In order to reduce cellulite, you must reduce the excess fat deposits on your body.

You and Me

I fall in love with you every morning and in every spoil and gestures of yours I found thousand reasons to be happy. I get lost into your eyes just like a butterfly on an endless plain full with flowers and I find myself in gestures and talks because you are my heart and soul.
I am here to listen to you when you feel the need to talk, I am here to hold you in my arms when you feel overwhelmed, I am here to cheer you up when you are sad, to take care of you when you are sick, to kiss you and love you when you forget how special and wonderful you are! A man and woman can do many things together but the most important thing is to share one life. With good and bad things, with all the world getting in our way, we are like a thread with two buds at the end, when the rain and wind it bends one down ready to break it, the other is there to support and draw it back into balance.

My life, it’s actually our life, two people in two bodies with two minds and two hearts which beats separate, but beat in the same time and doesn’t matter what separate them, that’s why we always hold hands, we look into each other’s eyes, we say so many things, we will always be together, because this make our life beautiful.

Following the footsteps of my dreams I got you, my love and, I discovered a wonderful fairytale world. Yes, a world where every day is a celebration of love, where every sorrow it heals with a kiss, where every touch gets up to even and a word make our heart vibrating for hours.  You are that wonderful person around whom I want to weave my dreams and desires, to love my whole life and to make me the happiest, giving me every day a wonderful and inestimable “I Love You”!

You the one smiling with stars and breathing dreams. You, the one hearing my heart beat even from the other part of the universe. Your eyes bring happiness where they let light raise to reach.
I am going to do with you a wonderful journey, until we see our sun of life going down and we will say to each other “It’s time to follow it” and the world will shout behind us” Good bye “ While we will Flourish again on the other side.

" If you love something let it go, if it comes back it you it's your, if it doesn't, it nver was".

10 Ways to Perk Up Our Day

Have you been felling lethargic throughout the week? Try these minor tweaks to our routine that will leave us feeling perky through the day.

From physical to emotional, there are many issues that could be keeping us down. But it also could be something as simple as monotony. Here are few things we can tweak in our life to pick ourselves up.
Go To Sleep Happy:
This list starts off our day before we even begin it. Make sure our day is fully optimized by a night of quality sleep. Our mood without this vital happiness hit can be a creature of changeable temper. So if we want to create a better day tomorrow, think positive thoughts before bed. Leave the bad behind, dispense with the problems. Be happy and concentrate on making our life excellent. Sleep.
Wake up a few minutes earlier:
Bath and showers are proven to have a healing effect on humans as they make us feel like our worries are washing away. Instead of hopping in and out of the shower though, make time for a relaxing bath. Even if it last for only fifteen minutes, we will feel much better of it.
Sweat:
Sweat. Seems like petty vague and somewhat bizarre solution to our bad day, right? If we can do some form of physical activity, though – running, walking, dancing – those positive endorphins will start flowing and we will be feeling a boost of positivity before we know it.
A Nice Gesture:
One of the best ways to make ourselves happy is to do something nice for someone else. Why not give someone a cuddle, make tea for a loved one or buy your friend a small gift? That warm fuzzy feeling that stems from seeing someone else happy because of you is contagious.
Have a Quite Time:
If we are feeling moody and we could snap at any moment, take ourselves out of all social solutions and take a few long, deep breaths. We will usually find that by the time we have had a little time away from people; we will have calmed down a lot and we are less likely to snap anytime.
Clear out Clutter:
A cluttered space leads to a cluttered mind, so make it our mission to de-clutter and we will find that our day has been given a nudge in the right direction. Whether it is our kitchen, our bedroom or our desk, start on a little section at a time and we will feel a sense of satisfaction each time we see our sparkling clean surroundings.
Light a Citrus-scented Candle:

Improve our day by burning a lemon-scented candle. You heard that right. Scientists suggest that citrus fragrances – particularly lemon – can alleviate depression and boost our mood.
Have a Glass of Orange Juice:
Researchers say that a good dose of Vitamin C lowers our levels of stress hormones such as cortisol, helping us to manage stress more effectively. Next time you’re having a stressful afternoon, reach for a glass of orange juice to ease you through.
Laugh Out Loud:
Whether we are having a bad day or just want to add little ‘oomph’, nothing makes our day happier than a good laughing session. Every time we laugh increased levels of oxygen soar to our organs and stress evaporates. Weather we opt to go for lunch with a friend who never fails to have us in stitches, or we watch a hilarious YouTube video, laughing out loud is a surefire way to boost our day.
Pet Our Pet:
If we are the owner of a furry little friend, making time to simple sit with our pet can seriously boost our happiness. Every time we pet an animal, our body releases feel-good hormones such as oxytocin, prolactin and serotonin, and this leads to lower blood pressure, happiness and less anxiety. Sound good!
Give our day Happiness Boost!

The do’s and Don’ts of Weight Loss!

We probably know that in order to lose weight, we have to make some long term changes in our life.
To help you out, here are some do’s and don’ts to help you home on your goal and keep the weight off.
Some of these tips are just plain common sense, so you may have seen them before or already realized them yourself, but others will probably be new insights for you.
Hers is the Do’s
Eat Regularly:
Regular meal eaters tend to have a lower energy intake compared to those who eat irregularly- crucial if you are looking to maintain or lose weight. Re-fuelling when you are hungry is a good idea, but make sure that you snack on the right things. Good snacks are fruit, vegetable sticks and low fat dips, scones, sandwiches, toasts, smoothies and low fat or diet yogurt.
Take a Walk @Lunch Time:
Just small changes make a big difference over time. Offer to make the coffee at work or wash up, just walking over to the kettle every day for a few week counts! Or even could exercise at your desk.
Go Shopping with a List:
There is nothing worse than standing in the chocolate aisle with a growling stomach; it makes it all the more tempting to grab foods that are high in fat and sugar. Make sure you do your food shopping with a list- and not when you are hungry too.
Don’t be conned with marketing:
Low fat does not necessarily mean low calorie; many manufactures lower the amount of fat in dessert foods and increase the amount of sugar to compensate. Make sure you read the labels on food stuffs so you do know exactly what you are eating.
Get Support:
This is really important if you are succeeded to losing weight in the long term. Being surrounded by people who will eat the same foods and encourage you along the way is a good idea. Find a ‘buddy’ or someone in your family to boost your morale. This can really help if you are taking up a new exercise regime; it makes backing out much harder to do.
Watch you portion sizes:
Next time you go out, look at the amounts that your friends eat; you may be surprised at how much you consume in comparison to others. It is important to get your meal portions correct so try to eat more fruit, vegetables and starchy foods and less of the protein, dairy products and fatty and sugary foods.
Set Yourself Achievable goals:
This is important as you have something to aim for and if you make it achievable then you feel good when you reach the goal, rewarding yourself perhaps with a nice hot bath or a night out to the movies.
Tackle problems and don’t rely on food as comfort:
A large number of us use food as a way of reliving stress and as a way to unwind when we are not even hungry.
Remember that there are no ‘good’ or ‘bad’ foods, only ‘good’ or ‘bad’ diets:
This means that you can have treats; it is really important to be able to have what we call ‘flexible restraint’ and pick and choose when you have foods such as chocolate and chips.
Do monitor your food intake and physical activity:
Using a diary or blog to record what you eat and how much you exercise is an excellent start. This helps you understand where are your ‘danger periods’ on a daily basis, such as in the evenings when you relax in front of the TV.
Here are the Don’ts:
Rely on just changing your food intake to loose weight:
Research has proven that a combination of both exercise and altered eating habits is the best way to lose and maintain weight loss.
Think a fad diet will be the answer to your weight issue:
This is sure-fire way to head for the junk food. Many fad diets promise great weight loss but are unbalanced, and only make you crave the foods that it advices against. Life is for living and we should try to have a sensible and realistic approach to weight loss!
Miss Break Fast:
A classic way to think you are cutting back is to miss the most important meal of the day. By missing breakfast you are more likely to go for a snack-mid-morning and it may not always be a healthy one you reach for!
Become obsessive about your food intake:
If you feel you are permanently on diet, ask yourself why. There is no point going out for a meal and feeling deprived, think of coping strategies to make such occasions as enjoyable as they should be. Why not cut back the day before you go out for the meal or even the day after.
Weigh yourself everyday:
Weighing yourself too often is pointless and may even be negative to your efforts. You don’t need to weigh yourself more than once a week and even when you do you need to do it right way to get accurate results.
Weight fluctuates. It’s normal. Even when you are on a good diet there will be days in which you’ll gain a little. This is why weighing yourself every day is a big mistake. The only thing it can do is get you down when you see that your weight has not decreased as much as you do.
For individuals who do need to lose weight for improved health, a refocus on lifetime weight management and avoidance of the "quick-fix" approach will result in the best long-term success.

Not many people know that apart from their lifestyle habits, the problem behind getting dark circles is also organic.
There are some easy ways to hide and cover dark circles with quick and easy cover up.

However, it is especially true for people who want to quickly get rid of under eye circles and under eye bags. Insufficient rest and sleep drives blood to our eyes where our skin is much thinner. When sleeping use a pillow to make sure that we sleep with our head slightly raised above the rest of our body. This helps to keep the fluids from collecting in our face, which can leads to bags under our eyes when we wake up in the morning.
Diet:
Check that our diet is providing us with proper, eye-friendly nutrition. Dark circles and dark, heavy bags under our eyes are sometimes caused by vitamin deficiencies in our diet and life style. Also, topical application of vitamin C and other antioxidants can help lighten our complexion and the areas around the eyes. Such vitamin serums can be purchased at our local health food store in the beauty section.
Moisturize:
Moisturize the sensitive, tired eye area with an eye specific lotion formula to help protect it from the elements. The eye area is very sensitive and requires specialized moisturizes to meet its specific moisturizing needs. Various products which provide anti-aging properties can help reduce dark circles and dark bags under our eye.

The type of tea doesn’t matter, but just a cool tea bag can really make our puffiness and dark circles disappear.

Don’t Stress:
Last but most importantly, stop stressing out. The more we stress, the more it will manifest itself on our skin and the more we will stress and the more….. You get the picture. It’s a various circle and if we don’t stop stressing, we will never see the end.
Wear dark sunglasses to protect your skin from melanin changes.
