Best Beauty Secrets from Your Kitchen!

Natural Cleansers:

Milk, Sugar cane and Grapes make wonderful cleansers.
Strawberries contain natural salicylic acids which is great cleanser for acne prone skin.
Olive oil can be used as makeup remover.

Natural Scrubs:

Mixture of sugar and Lemon/ Honey is the best scrub which can be used.
Rolled oatmeal can be a great facial cleanser with gentle scrubbing properties.
Dried and coarsely grounded orange/lemon peel, almonds, or brown sugar can also be used as gentle scrubs.
Gram flour has been traditionally used in beauty care, mainly to deep cleanse and exfoliate the skin. Mix it with yogurt, lemon juice and a pinch of turmeric or mix ground almonds with gram flour, milk and lemon juice.
A mixture of walnut powder, honey and lemon juice can be used as scrub.

Natural Moisturizers:

For Dry Skin: mashed ripe Banana, papaya and egg yolk. Curd is also good for dull skin.
For Oily Skin: Egg white, Fenugreek and red palm paste.
A cup of buttermilk. Half an avocado. Two tablespoons of honey. A dash of olive oil make a great moisturizer.

Natural Toner:

Cucumber, pineapple and lemon juice are naturally occurring astringents. Apple cider vinegar is also an excellent toner.

Easy Skin care tips for all time:
  • Rose water can be used as a natural toner after cleansing the face.
  • Boil green tea leaves in water and cool it down. This can be used as a sunscreen.
  • Apply a mixture of cucumber and lemon juice and wash it off after 20minutes. This will remove tan. Alternatively we can use turmeric and yogurt also.
  • Mint is an excellent refreshing agent.
  • Olive oil can be used to sooth sunburn skin
